Yushatak Driver X on VAIO P

Epic fail... See the big unused black area on right and the overlap on the bottom... Will try on other intel drivers

  1. hi, what is the modem that comes with the P91HS? i also have it but i uninstalled the globetrotter software. does it come with GPS and noise cancelling capability? can you help?

  2. It isn't a general-use driver, it's geared specifically for 1024x600 screens. However, I tried to add support for others, but without such devices, I couldn't really put in the testing required to get them working. I generated the drivers using the Intel EMGD. It's a free download, if you've got the technical know-how to take a crack at it, otherwise I'd need to own a VAIO P (or device with the same GPU and resolution) before I could help..

  3. not epic fail (black area) :)
    write correct xorg configuration file

    backlight and backlight-keys work correctly?

  4. Damn!!! Me too got my VAIO P all screwed up after trying that driver. I guess I'll just have to live with the default one.

  5. this happens on my Asus eee PC as well (same black area).

asoneofus: what modification do I have to make to xorg file?

  6. Problem solved...

    install new version of ubuntu
